The firm of Foreman, Rosenblatt & Lewis aims
to provide full service to its clients in a relaxed, friendly environment at
reasonable and competitive fees. The firm is located at 425 York Boulevard,
Hamilton, ON, at the corner of York and Locke Streets and is wheel chair
accessible.
The current partners,
Mitchell B. Rosenblatt and Christine M. Lewis have been working together for
many years, and have legal experience in many areas of law including corporate,
commercial, real estate, wills, estates, family law, criminal law and civil
law.
Albert I. Foreman (1931-2017),
retired December 31, 2014, after 58 years of successful practice in corporate,
commercial, business law and real estate.

Mitchell B.
Rosenblatt graduated with his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1971. In
1974 he obtained his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, where he was a member
of the law schools Moot Court Committee. On completing the Bar
Administration Course in 1977, he commenced the practice of law with, amongst
others, Albert I. Foreman, with whom he continues to practice today, along with
Christine M. Lewis.
Mitchell has
over 33 years of trial and appeal experience in, substantially, all areas of
litigation, including family, civil, criminal and construction law, with over
40 reported cases.
Mitchell has
been and continues to be a member of the Hamilton Law Association, the Hamilton
Criminal Lawyers Association and The Hamilton Lawyers
Club.

Christine M. Lewis - LLB,

Christine
M. Lewis received her LLB from the University of Western Ontario in 1992.
Christine articled at Ross & McBride in Hamilton and was called to the Bar
in 1994. Christine was born in London, England, emigrated to Canada as a child
with her family in 1965 and was raised in the Hamilton, Burlington, Dundas
areas. Christine attended Sheridan College, Mohawk College and McMaster
University. She was a clerk for 13 years with the firm of Foreman &
Rosenblatt (1976 - 1989) prior to attending law school.
She is a member
of the Hamilton Law Association and contributed to the Real Estate Committee
for several years and has also served as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees.
Christine was on the Committee of Adjustments for the City of Hamilton, which
adjudicates minor variance and severance applications in the City, for ten
years.
Christine has been
practising with Foreman, Rosenblatt & Lewis since being called to the bar
in 1994, became a partner in 1996, and practises primarily in the areas of real
estate, corporate commercial, wills and estates.
